Our Staff
We have a team of friendly, caring and experienced staff members who are passionate advocates for quality early childhood education. Together they form a collaborative team of professionals who are committed to providing engaging and stimulating educational programs aimed at enhancing the learning and developmental outcomes for all children within their care. They are committed to best practice in Early Childhood Education and participate in ongoing training and staff development.

At all times children will be supervised by a staff member with a First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training. Please also note that all Kindergarten staff are also Mandatory Reporters and obligated to report children at risk of significant harm.

Tanya
Early Childhood Teacher and Educator
Tanya is a Teacher/Educator with the Warin and Mirram Groups. Tanya began her career working with children in 2004 completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Services in 2010, followed by her Diploma in Early Childhood services 2011.
Tanya completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching in 2025.
Tanya joined Hughesdale Kindergarten in 2014, with 23 years experience in sessional kindergarten, coming from a finance background.

Tanya loves nature and caring for the environment. She values children’s voices and values that each child has their own identity that should be celebrated.
Ramee is the teacher of the four-year-old Mirram group. She began her early childhood
journey as an Additional Kindergarten Assistant after completing her Certificate in Education Support and later completed a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
Ramee brings a diverse and creative background to her teaching, with experience across sessional kindergarten programs, primary school art education and running her own cake-art business.

These experiences shape her engaging and inclusive approach, supporting
children to feel confident, curious and supported in their learning.
Bhagya
Early Childhood Educator
Bhagya has a Diploma in Children services and has spent over 12 years working in early childhood education. Bhagya has completed her Integration Aid and Teachers Aid certificates. She has been working at Hughesdale kinder from 2019. She works with 3-Year-old group and does 4-year-old lunch break.
Bhagya enjoys art and craft, all medium painting, and Clay modelling. Bhagya loves to educate the Children through play-based learning and. feels this is better for them when they are relaxed, happy and interested in learning what is happening.
Effie
Early Childhood Educator
Effie is an educator at Hughesdale Kindergarten. Over the past 5 years she has worked in both kindergarten and childcare settings as inclusion support, and this included being with Hughesdale Kindergarten from 2022.
Effie is a proud mum too and is passionate about how all children are unique in their learning and developing.
Sarina
Early Childhood Educator
Sarina is an Educator at Hughesdale Kindergarten and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive and supportive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and confident to
learn. Sarina enjoys working closely with children and families and supports learning through play-based experiences. She has a particular interest in sports, STEM and music.
